ATTORNEY
DIVINNE
It Matters Not How Much I Have; It Is More Important To Give.
Divinne Joseph Smith, Esq. is a veteran attorney practicing primarily in Orlando, Florida. Her professional background consist of helping families in all matters of probate, wills, trust, real estate and business. Divinne’s focus is in ensuring that your testamentary affairs are in order prior to an estate requiring probate. Divinne’s practice is well versed in compliance of city, state and federal laws and regulations in order to ensure and/or enforce your individual need.
Primarily, Divinne works with individuals and small business owners with their succession planning. What’s next? How do accomplish the ‘next’? And what are the risk factors and benefits associated thereof? Divinne provides personal and particular attention to each individual client to ensure that their desire and actions manifest their specific outcome.
Prior to Smith & Williams, Divinne worked for a national labor and employment defense driven law firm which specialized in legal representation and counsel to corporations for all aspects of their labor force, including, but not limited to, employee relations issues, compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws, and union negotiation and prevention.
Divinne prides herself most in her philanthropy work. She is very involved in the Central Florida Community by serving boards such as the Florida Bar, George C. Young Inn of Court, the United Negro College Fund, Harbor House (Orange County’s center against domestic violence), Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Pink Pearl Foundation and serving the less fortunate in various pro bono legal matters. Divinne’s passion is helping and serving. She truly enjoys serving those who are in need — whether it be displaced, in foster care, or transition. Divinne’s profession may be the law; but her passion is giving.
Divinne Joseph Smith is a class 5 Florida Bar Leadership fellow alumni and current scholar of the Goldman Sachs 10K program. She is an active member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Divinne is the daughter of the late Edouard Joseph and Bernadette Joseph, both immigrants who migrated to the United States for better opportunities. Both, who committed to giving selflessly with whatever means they had, rather it be providing shelter to an individual who had none or sending resources back home. Divinne is the wife of Devinn Smith and mother of five beautiful children.
